Crunch Time!
June 21st, 2008 by TravisThe game industry operates at two unique paces: slow-as-hell and OMG-OMG-OMG!!! We call this lovely period of unfettered overtime and endless pizza “crunch time.” Meeting deadlines and shipdates is all well and good, but crunch has become such a pervasive, assumed part of the industry that when people aren’t forced at gunpoint to get things done… well… they just don’t. It’s all part of the endless cycle that is crunch, which as you might have guessed will be a reoccurring theme around here.
